Rekonnect includes a flexible notification system that helps admins and users stay updated on key activities such as course completions, new support issues, or newly assigned trainings. These notifications are managed from the Profile Menu where users can customize what alerts they receive and how frequently.
Types of Notifications Available
There are 3 types of email notification that are possible to subscribe too.
1. Course completions
2. New support issues
3. New training (action required)
1. Course Completions
Receive an email when training participants complete courses.
Helps administrators and trainers track user progress in real time
Includes course names and user details
Choose how often to receive these updates:
Hourly | Daily (default) | Weekly
2. New Support Issues
Get notified when a new support issue is submitted by a product user.
Useful for support teams or owner admins who need to respond quickly
Includes ticket details such as issue type and the linked product
Toggle this on to stay ahead of incoming user concerns

3. New Training (Action Required)
Be alerted when new training is assigned to you or your user group.
Ensures that users don’t miss important required learning
Especially helpful for internal teams or new customer onboarding
The email includes a direct link to the assigned training
4. New Certificates
When a certificate is created (manually or automatically) It will send an email notification to the user alerting them.
Any newly created certificate will activate an email that is sent to the user
Replacement certificates (overwriting older certificates) will also activate emails
The email includes a direct link to the assigned certificate
Where to Manage Notifications
You can manage all your notification preferences in:
Profile Menu (top-right corner) → Preferences → Notifications
From there, simply toggle subscriptions on or off, and adjust your preferred frequency where applicable.
Best Practices
Admins: Enable all three types of notifications to stay on top of learner progress and system activity.
Support Coordinators: Keep support issue notifications active for timely response.
Internal Team Members: Subscribe to training assignment alerts so nothing is missed.
