Updated over 7 months ago

In addition to email alerts, Rekonnect also provides visual notifications to help you stay aware of new support tickets, community portal messages, recieved feedback and more.

Colored badges (or dots) appear to indicate that new content or engagement has occured and requires your attention.

Support Notifications

When a new support issue is created (either by you or others) a red notification badge (dot) appears next to either the “Created by me” tab or the "New" tab in the support section.

In addition on the primary menu a red badge (dot) appears next to the menu item Support Issues, indicating there are un-read tickets for your attention.

This badge shows the number of unresolved or newly created tickets, helping you quickly identify when something needs your attention. This makes it easy to:

  • Monitor incoming tickets at a glance

  • Follow up on your submitted issues

  • Stay aware without relying solely on email notifications

You can click the tab to view and manage your submitted support tickets directly.

Received Feedback

When a user submits a form or responds to a survey, a blue badge (dot) appears on the primary menu item "engagement" and additionally on the submenu item "recieved feedback".

This alert notifies administrators that new feedback has been submitted and is awaiting review. This allows you to:

  • Monitor feedback volume as it comes in

  • Quickly react to user insights or issues

  • Ensure feedback loops are timely and actionable

Community Engagement

Visual indicators for activity inside Community Boards for when there is new engagement, such as a user posting a message, replying to a thread, or uploading a file.

A purple dot appears next to the Community Board or thread title. This lets you know there has been recent activity since your last visit. You might see the purple dot in cases like:

  • A customer posts a new question in a discussion

  • A colleague replies to a clinical trial update

  • A file (e.g. PDF, image, doc) has been uploaded to the shared space
