Our platform supports automatic certificate generation at two levels:
Group Level Configuration β Applies globally to all users in a group.
Product-User Level Configuration β Allows for individual overrides user-group defined settings (above)
π Note that user-group level and product-user level settings (for auto generated certificates) can be combined, meaning combining settings from both levels can be active and in effect at the same time.
1. Group-Level Configuration (Recommended for most use cases)
Settings for auto-generated certificates on the user-group level mean that any user placed in that group will inherit the effect of those settings.
In the example above, Product A is linked to the user-group Malmo Nurses, and has the following options:
Auto-generated certificates (toggle)
Expiry after (number input)
Certificate Language (dropdown select)
Show Authorised by (toggle + input)
π Any users added to this group will be effected by these settings.
To Edit Group-Level Settings:
To adjust the settings for a user-group, navigate to Acccounts > Customers and click on the name of the customer you wish to edit.
Under their customer click on the groups tab, and then scroll down to where the products tab is. The settings can be found by clicking on the radio-button for "edit automatic certificate generation" (see below image).
2. Product-user level Configuration
Settings for auto-generated certificates on the product-user level mean that any settings configured on group-level (see above) will be over-rided for the individual.
π Any other users in the group, without this product-user level configuration will stay affected by the group-level settings.
In the example above, Product A is linked to the product-user Jane Svensson, and has the following options:
Auto-generated certificates (toggle)
Expiry after (number input)
Certificate Language (dropdown select)
Show Authorised by (toggle + input)
π Jane's settings (for auto-generated certificates) will over-ride any settings that exist on a group that she is added too.
To Edit Product-user Level Settings:
To adjust the settings for a specific user, navigate to Acccounts > Users and click on the name of the user you wish to edit.
Under their profile click on the products tab, and the settings can be found by clicking on the radio-button for "edit automatic certificate generation" (see below image).
