4.2 About Surveys

Gather structured user feedback across products, training, and customer experiences

Updated over 7 months ago

Surveys in Rekonnect are a flexible tool for collecting targeted feedback from users, whether you're evaluating training effectiveness, gauging customer satisfaction, or gathering insights on product usage.

Surveys allow MedTech companies to close the loop with learners, customers, and internal teams by turning feedback into measurable data that supports quality improvements, engagement, and regulatory compliance.

📌 Unlike in-platform forms, surveys are distributed via email and linked to a specific topic, product, or customer group.

Build a form first

Before you can create a survey in Rekonnect, you must first build the form that will serve as the foundation for your survey.

Forms are created and managed under the Content section and define what questions will be asked—such as ratings, text inputs, or multiple choice selections.

When you set up a new survey, you'll be prompted to select an existing form to attach. The survey simply controls how and to whom that form is delivered (e.g., via email to selected users).

📌 You can reuse the same form across multiple surveys or create custom forms for specific audiences or topics.

What Makes Surveys Different from Forms?

While both tools collect feedback in Rekonnect, there are some key differences in how they’re used and delivered:

  • Forms are embedded directly within the user interface, allowing users to provide feedback in real time while interacting with content.

  • Surveys are distributed via email and accessed through a dedicated landing page, making them ideal for broader outreach and post-interaction evaluation.

  • Forms are typically tied to specific content, like a course or document, while surveys can be linked to users, products, training packages, or even general topics.

  • Surveys are often used for more structured evaluations, such as customer satisfaction check-ins or follow-up questions after a live training event.
